Teal

(Scarf: Zara, Leather Jacket via UO, Fishtail Skirt: Zara, Alexander Wang Diego Bucket Bag, Alexander Wange Caroline Platform Booties)

One thing I truly enjoy about the new and up coming trend is the pastel colors. Scored this skirt from Zara, and not only did I love the fish tail detail of it but this color immediately caught my eye. And if you've been reading my blog for some time, you'd know that unless mixing different colours, I try to make a color pop up in a simple black outfit.

A NYC Town House

(Source: Vogue.com)

Tabitha Simmons' New York City Town House featured in Vogue.com . I absolutely love the light and warm feeling of the design. My favourite part, other than the tub filled with shoes- who wouldn't want that-, is the living room. I love how the carpet is matching the throw pillows. And those big windows are gorgeous.

Pork Pie

(Coat: ZARA, Tops: H&M, Leather Skirt: Sparkle & Fade, Heels: Steve Madden)

Photographing this look was a challenge because of the rain that day but we managed to get some decent images. Love this pork pie hat, which I stole from my brother that day since I felt it looked good with my monochromatic white, grey and black look. I layered a crop black sweater on top of a long white top over the skirt. I love the layered look in an outfit.

HANA Air Premiere

As I've mentioned in another post after being asked about my hair, I never use a hair dryer. Here's why: It takes at least 20 minutes to just dry my hair, without styling, takes over 45 minutes to style my hair with a blow dryer and at the end my hair looks like a puff. But I have to admit I never thought the actual hair dryer makes such a big different. I thought I don't have the hair nor the skills for it.

I was proved wrong when I received this "Hana Hair Dryer" from Misikko. No more puffiness as it gives me just the right amount of volume. I can get a natural straight look but just brushing my hair as I'm drying and the best part, my hair dries within 5 to 10 minutes. I took the time to do some curls as well and I loved the look of it. I can't stress the quick effects of this dryer enough.

Check out Misikko where you can find salon grade Flat Irons and Chi Hair Dryers and the Hana Air Premiere Hair Dryer which I've used.

Happy Monday xx

-Midi to Short-

(Faux Fur Coat: Asos, Blouse: ZARA, Leather Skirt: H&M, Belt: ZARA, Sued Booties: Opening Ceremony, Dior Sunglasses)

This is the outfit I wore before it snowed -but the snow is almost gone now, only little traces of it here and there-. The mid length leather skirt that I wore in THIS post, which I shortened using a big buckle belt, to wear with this outfit. Regardless of the 'small' size of this Faux Fur coat, it's so big on me. But I can't deny the warmth and comfort it provides for me. And I must say it's a good faux fur, all soft and fluffy.

Snowball

( DKNY Coat, DIY Knit Sweater, Skirt from UO, Zara Boots, Ray-Ban Aviators )

I love snow - I prefer it to rain - It lifts up my spirit and makes me happy. So I was thrilled when it snowed my part of town an  I spent the afternoon talking a walk, running/sliding in the snow, had a little snowball fight and just enjoyed the white everywhere instead of the gloomy grey that comes with the rain.

Two-Toned Faux Fur

(Faux Fur: H&M, Blouse: ZARA, Jeans: H&M, UO Shoes, Asos Bag)

Dressed for comfort and warmth. These hills are my most comfortable heels as I don't even feel that I'm wearing them and you can never go wrong with a faux fur coat, specially if it's got an Ombre effect.

In Reverse

(Hat: Urban Outfitters, Jacket: Wilfred, Pants: Silence+Noise, Boots: ZARA)

Basically wearing my wilfred jacket inside out after I noticed how pretty the inside is.

By the Fence

(Coat: ZARA, Blouse: ZARA, Jeans: ZARA, Heels: Aldo)

One of my favourite coats so far this one, which also makes me think to myself " stop buying coats already" ... These jeans have lasted so many years for me and they still look new in my opinion and the fit is so amazingly comfortable despite the fact that they're skin tight.

I finally got a domain name for this blog, so it is now soundofsweetlullabies.com. Something I'd been putting off but finally decided to go for it. As I'm still trying to figure out blogger, I noticed that even though the old address redirects readers to this one, my GFC doesn't work on the old one. Any ideas how I can fix that so it works on both? hmm...
