Style. Travel. Inspiration.

Two-Toned DIY

(Sweater: Knit by mom, Pants: Silence+Noise via Urban Outfitters, Booties: Jeffry Campbell Nation H via  Sole Struck)

I came across a picture of a sweater on Tumblr sometime ago and I really liked the style and how the colours were introduced to each other by a step pattern. Having no idea where I can find one or the cost my mom said she'd knit one for me. And viola my cozy and super warm sweater. I wear it everywhere, whether I go to the store, restaurant or just to keep warm in the snow in whistler.
NYE is just around the corner. What are your plans? Do you have a an outfit ready? I don't. I'm gonna have to do some last minute shopping.

When I Tumbled Upon Inspiration

I use my Tumblr as a way to find inspirational images and keep a record of them. Here are some snapshots from my Tumblr blog that give me chills. Check out the blog if you haven't and listen to the first song too. It's one of my favourite songs at the moment.

Burgundy

(Hat: H&M, Coat: DKNY, Skirt: Forever21, Bag: Asos, Booties: Opening Ceremony, Ring: YSL)

Its funny how I never noticed that the colour of this hat and coat are the same before and that they go well together. Also been thinking burgundy might be my favourite colour. hmm!

All I Want for Xmas This Year

(All images are via ssense)

1. Givenchy Large Mirte Tote here.
2. Opening Ceremony Laetitia 2 Boots here.
3. Maison Martin Margiela Fuschia Jeans here.
4. Dian Von Furstenberg Pauwau Crewneck Sweater here.

A few of my favourite items at the moment. Short but sweetly expensive and showing my newly developed obsession with colour. None are actually on my wish list for christmas this year because of the high prices, but a girl can dream.

On another note check out my interview with Smashion right here, and you can know a little more about me :) xx

Blue Lace

(Coat: Zara, Dress: DIY, Heels: Elle, Bag: Fossil)

I had bought this blue lace fabric sometime ago, when I wanted to try my hand at sewing and it had been lying in my closet. Finally, I made a simple, asymmetrical dress (very unfinished), but the skirt part of it looked good enough to be worn.

It feels good to be done with final papers, projects and exams and to take some time to get into the holiday spirit. I'm also taking time to go through all the outfit pictures I took during the busy period, so I'll have those ready to post.

Get Togethers and Xmas Cookies

(Photos c/o of Cee and Veronika)

Last saturday I finally got a chance to meet some of the beautiful and stylish bloggers here in Vancouver. Such a warm and cute community and I'm so excited to be a part of it. We all brought some cookies to swap-hmm yummy homemade cookies. Lots of laughs, lots of stories to share. What i found the most interesting is how much we have in common behind the scenes of blogging. It was lovely to meet the ladies and a special thanks to Cee for hosting this get together and including me <3

I was wearing Zara blouse, pants and scarf and Aldo heels. I will post the outfit with more details later on :)

From left to right: Aarti of Aarti-IT, Lynn of Hearted Girl, Cee of Coco & Vera, Jen of Her Waise Choice, Alexandria of To Vogue or Bust, Leonie of The Signature Bow, me, Veronika of Girl & Closet, Cara of A Fashion Love Affair.

I feel so ridiculously short. heehee
